João Borges
João Borges is a financial executive with broad professional experience acquired over 22 years working in financial and corporate institutions, such as Citibank, Itaú BBA, Unibanco, BBA Creditanstalt and EBX Group, in the Structuring of Securities Transactions (fixed and variable income), Corporate Projects and Finance, Equity Transactions, M&A Processes, Investor Relations and Auditing / Accounting.
His experience in restructuring activities began at RK Partners, where he led several transformational M&A projects and the restructuring process of EBX Group, which included the coordination, restructuring, and management of over USD 20 billion in debt.
João holds a bachelor's degree in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and a specialization course in Private Equity and Venture Capital from Harvard Business School.
Ricardo Agostini
Ricardo Agostini has over 25 years of prior experience in operational and financial restructuring as an executive, consultant, and advisor.
A former partner at RK Partners and Angra Partners, he led the restructuring of several assets in complex situations and judicial environments, intermediating negotiations of tens of billions with banks and vendors. In addition, he has been an Asset Manager in Private Equity environment and has conducted M&A processes.
Previously, Ricardo worked at Bain & Company, Price Waterhouse, MGDK & Associates, and Monitor Company.
Ricardo holds an MBA from Insead and a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a major in Telecommunications from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (Poli-USP).
Fabio Sekiguchi
Fabio T. Sekiguchi has over 20 years of experience in alternative assets investment management. A former partner at Angra Partners, he worked on distressed asset recovery and led investments and divestments Private Equity transactions.
He served on the Board of Directors and Fiscal Council of various companies across sectors such as logistics, industrial, equipment rental, solid and liquid bulk port operations, telecommunications, and others.In his professional career, he previously worked at Telefonica, Diamond Cluster (now Oliver Wyman), MCP (a Private Equity firm in Boston), and Deutsche Bank.
He holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a barchelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Escola Politecnica - University of Sao Paulo.
Caio Agib
Caio Agib has broad experience in credit and derivative operations and corporate legal advisory.
Before Almagestum, he worked at RK Partners. Before RK Partners, he worked at Necton (BTG Pactual) with credit origination and derivative transactions with companies in the agribusiness and technology industries.
Previously, he worked at Lobo & de Rizzo, accumulating experience in M&A operations and corporate structuring.
Caio is a lawyer with a bachelor's degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC RJ) and a specialization in Finance from Alumni COPPEAD.
Othon Ribeiro
Othon has experience in mergers and acquisitions, credit operations, and alternative investments, actively contributing to the origination and execution of transactions.
Prior to joining the Almagestum team, he worked at igc Partners and Criteria Investimentos, both boutique investment banking firms. Before transitioning to the financial market, he participated in building one of the largest pre-university preparatory courses in São Paulo, BNE Edu.
Othon holds a degree in Business Administration from Insper.
